Visitor Hospitality Volunteer

A new voluntary role enhancing the level of visitor experience and enjoyment by providing a warm, attentive and dignified welcome for all visitors in keeping with Rochester Cathedral’s long established Benedictine tradition.

Our Visitor Hospitality volunteers welcome our visitors and provide them with information about tours, services and events at the Cathedral. As the Cathedral is free to enter, they will also be responsible for asking for donations from visitors.

Time Commitment

Shifts for the Visitor Hospitality Volunteers will be;

Monday - Saturday 9.30 - 12.45pm/12.30pm - 4pm

Sunday 12.30pm - 4pm

Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one shift weekly
