Filming at Rochester Cathedral
England’s second oldest Cathedral is available as a filming and photo shoot location. Rochester Cathedral is a perfect and adaptable backdrop for any period location over the past 1,000 years. Whether you you are looking for a imposing religious space, a small intimate chapel or our Medieval architecture we will be able to help. Our friendly and flexible staffing team know our spaces exceptionally well. We will do what we can to make your filming experience as easy as possible. We work alongside the Kent Film Office to ensure that all your needs are met.

Rochester Cathedral has been featured on screen on multiple occasions including the BBC's adaptations of Edwin Drood and the Canterbury Tales.
We have also featured in many documentaries and BBC shows including the Antiques Roadshow and Flog It.
Location
Rochester Cathedral is located close to London. We are just off the motorway and less than one hour by road from Central London. There are also excellent train links from several London rail terminus. Trains from St Pancras take 35 minutes.
Parking and Accommodation
Spaces can be available for dropping off equipment and arrangements can be made for parking provisions in the nearby area.
We have spaces available within the Cathedral which can act as Green Room spaces and have excellent links with Medway Council to help with other requirements.
There are several hotels within walking distance of the Cathedral for cast and crew if needed.
