Floatplane: Summer Lates

On selected evenings throughout August we will be open late. A chance to see the Short Scion Floatplane at Rochester Cathedral without the crowds.

Last admission, 9pm

These event takes place on multiple days, please ensure you are booking for the correct day.

Short Scion Floatplane

See the newly restored Short Scion Floatplane displayed in the Nave of Rochester Cathedral. Constructed in 1937, the plane was built just a short walk away in the Short Brothers Factory. It has been reconstructed by MAPSL thanks to a grant from Rochester Bridge Trust.

Adventure Golf

Challenge your friends and family to a game of Adventure Golf in our fun and educational bridge themed golf course.

First come, first served. Closes approximately 1 hour before sunset. Weather dependent.

Pioneers of Flight: Made in Medway

An exhibition exploring Medway’s pivotal role in aviation history and the lasting impact of the Short Brothers. Featuring a rich collection of artefacts and archival materials, the exhibition includes contributions from many local partners. An accompanying exhibition supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund

The Crypt Lounge

Open exclusively during selected events and Mars after Dark. Enjoy drinks in the stunning setting of our medieval crypt.

Please note, the Rochester Bridge Trust family engineering activities will not be available during evenings.
