Music of the Cosmos: Organ Concert

Experience the beauty and power of Rochester Cathedral’s spectacular Organ as we travel through galaxies on a musical journey inspired by Luke Jerram’s Mars: War & Peace. Join us as our Music Department with special guest guitarist Matt Bawtree performing a programme of music exploring the wonders of space and asking the question ‘is there life on Mars?’

 Programme includes;

Concerto in A minor, J.S.Bach

The Representation of Chaos, Joseph Haydn

Uranus, Saturn and Mercury from Gustav Holst’s The Planets

Theme from Star Wars, John Williams

The performance will culminate with

A Martian Medley featuring our guest guitarist
