Voluntary Choir
A voluntary role contributing to the mission and ministry of Rochester Cathedral by maintaining and developing standards of musical excellence in the Cathedral’s worship.
The Voluntary Choir consists of a pool of around 30 experienced adult singers who supplement the work of the Cathedral Choir by singing on various occasions throughout the year. These include feast days such as Ash Wednesday and All Souls, Weddings and Funerals, and regular weekend services throughout the year. Very occasionally, the Voluntary Choir also combines with the Cathedral Choir.
Anyone interested in further information, or to enquire for an audition, should contact the Assistant Director of Music, Jeremy Lloyd.
