Important information for Space Voyage ticket holders
This event is sold out - no tickets will be available on the door
Tickets and entry
·Tickets will need to be shown to gain entry. These do not have to be printed and can be shown on your phone. You should have received your ticket by email after you booked. If you have not received your email tickets please check your junk folder. If you still can not find them please email info@rochestercathedral.org
Tickets will not be available to buy on any of the nights
Please attend the light show at your allocated time. Should you be late we will try to accommodate you. Early admission is not permitted, and you will be asked to wait until your allocated timeslot.
Entrance to the Cathedral for the show is via the North Door only (the door nearest the High Street)
Once you have left the exhibition there will be no readmission
Exit is via the small west door (opposite the Castle)
Please note that even if you arrive on time you may have to queue
Parking is very limited in the vicinity of the Cathedral. Please walk or use public transport if you can.
What to expect during your visit
The experience is entirely within the Cathedral building and there will be a one way in and one way out system operating.
This exhibition includes loud sounds, music and moving and flashing images throughout the experience, as well as bright lights and areas of darkness within the Cathedral
The elements which make up the light show are on continuous loops which is accompanied by music. The full experience lasts approximately 40-50 minutes.
Sanitizer stations are placed around the Cathedral and at the entrance and exits
All staff/volunteers will be wearing face coverings
All visitors are encouraged to wear face masks
Be aware that the Cathedral will be dark as you move around the internal spaces
Not all areas are readily accessible for those with mobility issues as there are steps to negotiate.
Visitors requiring assistance with wheelchairs will / may be able to use the platform lift. This is only suitable for lightweight wheelchairs.
The Café in the Crypt will be open until 9pm during the event to buy light refreshments for both adults and children. We will also have a shop open.
Visitors are encouraged to move around to get a fully immersed experience.
Limited number of toilets will be available
Please follow the direction of Cathedral staff in the event of an emergency.
